If you're not sure where to start, the Advisory Call is the right first step. It is 90 minutes, paid, and structured. You'll leave with a clear read on your situation and what, if anything, makes sense next.
Advisory Call
90 minutes. A working session, not a pitch.
Not a sales call. If you're dealing with something complex and want an honest read before committing to a full engagement, this is the right starting point. We spend 90 minutes on your situation - what the real exposure is, what your options are, and what I'd recommend. You leave with something useful regardless of what happens next. This is how most engagements start. It's also a standalone service if that's all you need. If it makes sense to work together after the call, I'll tell you what that looks like. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that too.
90-Minute Advisory Work Session: $1,250
Strategic Intensives
Fixed-fee project work. Scoped before it starts.
A focused engagement to map your exposure, walk through your options, and produce a clear written recommendation. Useful when you're at a specific decision point: entering a new market, responding to regulatory scrutiny, evaluating a contract or acquisition, or facing a situation you haven't navigated before and need to understand quickly. Work is scoped before it starts and delivered in one to three weeks.
Standard projects: $3,500–$7,500
Complex or time-sensitive: $7,500–$18,000
Contract review: $750–$2,500, flat
Ongoing Strategic Advisory
Monthly retainer. Judgment on demand.
For executives who need consistent access to someone who understands regulated environments, can read a contract, and will give them a straight answer rather than a hedged memo. This isn't general counsel - it's judgment on demand for situations where the stakes are too high for guesswork or a junior associate. All work is mine, not delegated.
Advisory Access (2–4 hrs + async): $4,500/mo
Executive Retainer (5–8 hrs): $6,500/mo
Intensive Support (10–15 hrs): $9,000/mo
Legal Services
Licensed in Oregon and Michigan.
Licensed legal services, clearly scoped, clearly billed, and always kept separate from advisory work. This creates an attorney-client relationship with all the necessary and requisite protections that come with it. Available for Oregon and Michigan-nexus matters including regulatory defense, transactional work, licensing, and corporate governance. Not every situation requires legal representation. When it does, this is how it's handled - directly, without law firm overhead.
